ReCET - bringing state-of-the-art PCB design to the North East
In addition, ReCET offers a High end PCB design
capability using CADENCE ALLEGRO Expert PCB and SPECCTRA Quest Signal Integrity
software packages. ( An upgrade path exists from ORCAD into the ALLEGRO environment )
SPECCTRA QUEST controls the entire design of
a PCB by the classification of signal properties.
Trace lengths and route impedance calculations
are modelled to verify signal noise and propagation delays.
These definitions are common throughout the PCB
layout process, forcing constraint driven routing in
the SPECCTRA autorouter.
The benefits of controlling all the important signal
routing are very clear.
The number of design cycles will be greatly
reduced.
The time taken to track the PCB is greatly reduced

exactly match the timing requirements.
Examples of PCBs which will require the
advanced features of the Allegro Expert package
include:
- Differential clocks whose lengths are
matched precisely using trace meandering
settings within the autorouter.
- High layer count pcbs with blind / buried via
stackup
- High speed bus systems which require
impedance matching.
ReCETs in house PCB layout expertise will
resolve Design For Manufacture ( DFM ) and
Design For Test ( DFT ) issues, to ensure cost
effective manufacture and testing of final products.
